I had 3 free weeks of Claude Pro to give away, straight from Anthropic's own "Give the gift of Claude" feature inside my account. No catch, no purchase needed. I gave all 3 to readers of this site. The giveaway is now closed. We explain how entries worked, how winners were picked, and the rules, for the record.

What is Claude Pro, and why give it away?

Claude Pro is Anthropic's paid subscription tier for Claude, the AI assistant. It unlocks higher usage limits, access to Anthropic's most capable models, and extra features like Projects and extended thinking that the free tier doesn't include. A week is enough time to actually use it for real work, not just poke at it for five minutes.

I'm running this giveaway because I want more people to see what the site covers, and because Anthropic's own referral tool makes it easy to share real access instead of just a discount code. If you've been curious about Claude Pro but didn't want to pay for a month just to try it, this is that chance.

How entry worked

  1. A public comment on this article with the entrant's name or handle and one or two sentences on why they'd use Claude Pro for a week.
  2. A confirmation email with their name, email and the reason they gave in the comment, so I had a way to reach winners.

Both steps were required. The public comment is how I judged entries and how other readers could see the giveaway was real. The email is how I contacted winners, since Claude's gift-share links have to be sent privately and can't be posted publicly (posting one here would let anyone grab it instantly, not necessarily a real entrant).

What happens after winning

Winners were emailed a Claude gift-share link generated from my account. They redeem it the same way as any invite link, and the week of Claude Pro starts from there. What they do after the free week is entirely up to them: keep using the free tier, or subscribe themselves if they found it worth paying for.
