Editorial Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026. This document describes how AI Explainer India operates, verifies information, and maintains accountability to our readers.

Accuracy First

Every article on AI Explainer India is written, fact-checked, and published by a real human being: Yash Khare. No article is autopublished by AI, and no generative model writes our stories end-to-end. AI tools may assist with research gathering or grammar review, but they never draft the final text.

Before publishing, we verify every claim against at least one primary source: an official company blog post, a peer-reviewed paper, an API release note, or a credible news outlet's on-the-ground reporting. If we cannot verify a claim, we don't include it, even if it's widely repeated elsewhere.

Source Attribution

At the bottom of every article, you'll find a "Sources" section linking directly to primary materials. When we cite secondary reporting (like an article from The Verge or TechCrunch), we note that explicitly so you can distinguish between what the company said versus what journalists reported.

We do not link to press releases without also linking to independent reporting when available. Press releases are marketing documents, not neutral accounts of events.

No Sponsorship, No Payola

AI Explainer India accepts zero sponsored content in its articles and reviews. The only paid placement we offer is for referral codes on our Muse referral-code page, which is always labelled as paid promotional placement (see Referral Codes below). No company pays to be mentioned positively, and no company has reviewed an article before publication. Our revenue comes from display ads served through Google AdSense and from affiliate links (see below), neither of which buys coverage.

If you represent an AI company and would like coverage, submit a tip to hello@aiexplainerindia.com. We cover what seems interesting or important to our readers, not what the PR department requests.

Some links to tools and products (for example on our AI Tools page) are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked sponsored and routed through /go/.

Commissions never decide what we cover, what we say or how we rank a tool. We do not accept payment for reviews, and we write about tools that have no affiliate programme too.

Referral Codes, Paid Placement and Voluntary Support

Referral codes on our pages are referral relationships: if you redeem one and your referral qualifies, the code's owner may receive a reward from the provider. For our own codes that owner is the site's author. A code placed by a third party would be paid promotional placement, and its owner may receive the reward. We say so next to the codes.

Paid promotional placement is the only way a third-party referral code can be featured on our Muse referral-code page. For $10, we add a submitted code to the page within 4 hours of payment. Contact hello@aiexplainerindia.com to submit. These listings are not independently verified before publishing. Paid placements are labelled as paid listings, and payment does not buy positive coverage, ranking or coverage anywhere else on the site.

Voluntary support is optional contributions made on our support page. It is separate from paid placement: it does not buy placement or coverage, and it never affects what we review, publish or rank.

Calculators and Tools

Our free AI API Cost Calculator uses list prices from each provider's official pricing page, which we re-check regularly. Results are estimates, not quotes, and the calculator contains no affiliate links or sponsored placements. If a price looks out of date, tell us via the contact page and we will correct it.

AI Disclosure

We disclose when AI tools are used in the writing or verification process:

We do not use AI to generate headlines, quotes, or original analysis. Every piece of original commentary on this site is written by a human.

Corrections

Mistakes happen. When we get something wrong, we fix it and publish the correction publicly in our corrections log. We believe transparency about errors builds more trust than pretending they never occur.

If you spot an error, please let us know at hello@aiexplainerindia.com. We read every message and prioritize corrections over new publishes when warranted.

Conflict of Interest

The founder and editor has no financial holdings in any AI company covered on this site. No family members or close associates work at companies we report on. If any such relationship emerges in the future, it will be disclosed in the relevant article.

Feedback

This policy is a living document. If you have suggestions for improving our editorial standards, reach out via the contact page. We welcome critique, it makes the site better.
